BIOGRAPHY
Lise Nougier is a passionate and promising lyric soprano, trained at the CNSM of Paris, where she obtained her master’s degree in opera singing before joining the Académie de l’Opéra de Paris. Her meeting with the renowned soprano Diana Damrau in 2020 marked a pivotal moment in her vocal journey, fueling her artistic and technical evolution.
Her velvety and rounded voice, characterized by a bright and silvered upper register, stands out for its rare richness of tone. This tessitura allows her to take on demanding roles with natural elegance, such as Fiordiligi in Così fan tutte by Mozart, Mimi in La Bohème by Puccini, and Micaëla in Carmen by Bizet.
Lise has had the privilege of working with renowned artists such as conductor Claire Gibault, stage director Alain Françon, soprano Sabine Devieilhe, and pianist Alexandre Tharaud, and has performed at prestigious festivals such as Les Folles Journées de Nantes, the Festival de Pâques d’Aix-en-Provence, the Festival Glanum, and the Ravel Festival.
With a deep sensitivity for texts and the French language, Lise has always had a passion for theater. She holds a double degree in Modern Literature and Performing Arts and has enriched her training through acting, improvisation, clowning, and tap dancing. These varied artistic experiences are reflected in her creations, such as Ps: je vous relis sans cesse, a performance that combines lyrical singing and theater, centered around the most beautiful letters of the lyrical repertoire and French chanson, connected by a love story.
Always seeking new sounds, she shares a chamber music duo with guitarist Gaspard Schlich, performing the recital "Conversations latines", an invitation to journey through the melodies of Spanish, Italian, and French composers.
Named Révélation Lyrique by ADAMI in 2019, Lise Nougier continues to make her mark on the lyrical stage, captivating her audience with her talent, commitment, and unique personality.
